According to the theory, conventional societies will expand as they accept more contemporary practices. People who advertise upgrading maintain that modern states are richer, influential and benefit from a much superior standard of living. Modernization comprises of industrialization; urbanization; rising levels of literacy, education, prosperity, and communal recruitment; and more multifaceted and miscellaneous occupational structures. If westernization is taken into consideration, it is imperative comprehend that westernization is more related to practices, religion and educational changes. So, if it is imperative to accept western thoughts to adopt their way their civilization works, rather than how their financial system operates (Ventura, 2015). Westernization can be dated back to the European immigration, where urbanized countries such as the United Kingdom, France, and Spain had taken over other parts of the countries and populated them. In this colony, they required to integrate parts of their own civilization by initiating their religion, way of living and food. As people started accepting these traditions, information and religion, they became more western. The delusion that modernization is often personally associated to westernization has resulted in loads of countries rebuffing the thought of modern facts, to uphold their culture. Modernization is not restricted to only technology but can also comprise ideas or hypotheses (Brady, 2014). The easiest way to differentiate westernization and modernization is westernization contracts with information, creed and traditions. Modernization is necessary based on a rationalist and constructive spirit.
